18u Craig

Abby Craig, Head Coach

Abby has been consistently coaching volleyball and softball, both at the rec and club levels, since 2021. She is passionate about game IQ, body mechanics, and the mental aspects of the game. She strives for team and individual development that will prepare these girls to meet their goals – athletically, academically, and socially. In lieu of a softball scholarship offer, she chose academics and earned her BS in Psychology from Oregon State University. Throughout her career, she has had a focus on development and goal achievement. She has always maintained a strong love of the game and is a self-proclaimed "fastpitch nerd."

Abby and her husband love raising their three kids on their suburban mini-farm with their two dogs, two cats, two guinea pigs, two Nigerian dwarf goats, and seven chickens.

Jen Lankins, Assistant Coach

Jen Lankins has been involved in the softball community since age five, starting in Diamond Bar, CA, and later competing in both California and New Jersey. At Clifton High School, she played for a powerhouse program that earned back-to-back state championships and a runner-up finish. She began coaching in 2019 with Centennial Youth Sports, where she also served on the board and led key fundraising efforts. Her coaching emphasized fundamentals, mechanics, game IQ, and building confidence—helping several players advance to competitive travel teams.

Now based in Milwaukie, Jen continued to coach at the 12U and 14A levels, with a focus on advanced skill development, game IQ/situational awareness, and player growth. She currently heads the fundraising for Rex Putnam High School Softball. Known for her passion and leadership, Jen creates a positive, growth-focused environment where players feel supported, challenged, and confident — while having fun competing!

16u Salas-Snyder

Stephanie Salas-Snyder, Head Coach

Stephanie joined the Blast coaching staff in 2025 as the 14U Blast Head Coach. She brings an abundance of softball knowledge and experience to the program as a player, coach, and student of the game. As a player, Stephanie was a four-year starter for Wright State University (Dayton, OH) Softball team, leading them to their first conference championship and their first NCAA Division I Tournament appearance in 2003. She started her coaching career as a graduate assistant coach at Wright State in 2006 followed by coaching the Mount Notre Dame HS (Cincinnati, OH) Varsity Softball team in 2007-2008. She is an avid fan of the sport and has attended the Women’s College World Series in OKC since 2022. Stephanie’s approach to coaching is focused on the whole player, from mechanics to softball knowledge to building integrity, discipline, and teamwork. Her ambition is to develop a competitive, cohesive team that knows how to have fun.

Nick Fisher, Assistant Coach

Nick is in his second year coaching with the Blast organization after his family relocated from the Boston area. He’s in his 6th year coaching at the club level, focused on developing young athletes for success on and off the field. Prior to joining Blast, Nick coached with the Northeast Hurricanes and 643 organizations from U10 up through U14.

14u Schaffer

Bryanna Schaffer, Head Coach

Bryanna served as an assistant coach for the Blast Fastpitch 14U De Mars team during the past spring and summer seasons. She is a former collegiate softball player at Carleton College, where she graduated in 2025 as a four-year starter and record holder. With experience in both competitive travel ball and collegiate softball, she understands the expectations and demands of club softball, as well as what it takes to develop young athletes.

Her coaching philosophy emphasizes strong fundamentals, game awareness, confidence, and a disciplined approach to the game, while also prioritizing teamwork, accountability, and a positive, competitive environment. She focuses on creating a structured and supportive setting where athletes can build consistency, improve their skills, and deepen their understanding of the game. Her goal is to develop athletes into strong players and confident individuals, helping them grow as both teammates and people.

Stephanie De Mars, Assistant Coach

Stephanie is a returning coach with the Blast organization and has been coaching competitive club softball for several years. As a non-parent coach, she brings a unique perspective and a lifelong passion for the game. Stephanie played competitive softball from youth through college and had the opportunity to compete internationally, experiences that continue to shape her coaching philosophy. She is passionate about developing athletes both on and off the field, with a focus on building strong fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help young athletes grow and reach their full potential.

Morgan Miller, Assistant Coach

Morgan was born and raised in the coastal town of Newport where he played baseball, football and wrestled. He studied Geology at Western Oregon University and played on the rugby team. After college he spent a few years fishing in Alaska's Bering Sea, then settled in Portland and began a career as a commercial electrician. His coaching journey began with youth football and turned into 11 years of highschool football. His last stop being the varsity defensive coordinator at Wells Highschool. He spent 2 years officiating highschool football before beginning his softball journey with his daughters T-ball team.

14u Cornwell

Holly Cornwell, Head Coach

Holly served as a head coach for the 2023-24 10u Fury C team, as well as assistant Coach for the 2023-2024 10u Fury B team. Holly brings a wealth of experience and passion for softball to the role, growing up playing competitive softball as a catcher and has transitioned that passion into coaching. Holly has coached several teams spanning from Little League T-ball thru Majors softball. Holly is a Mom to three girls and part-time RN working with kids and families with Type 1 Diabetes.

Stephanie Freed, Assistant Coach

She’s a former collegiate pitcher and four year starter at the University of Missouri. Stephanie was also the Oregon State 6A Softball Player of the Year in high school. She is a physical therapist with a focus on movement development and efficiency. She has coached at all levels from t-ball through high school with competitive experience from 12U-16U. She is entering her 3rd year with Holly and the Blast organization after a successful final season in 12U. Stephanie brings a competitive drive and knowledge to the field, the love of the game, and the joy of seeing these girls work hard and reach new levels in their development.

12u - Farmer / Psihogios

Paige Farmer, Co-Head Coach

She’s played softball since T-ball and continued through the varsity high school level. Paige still enjoys competing in adult slowpitch, where her love for the game continues to grow. She is a hairstylist in Lake Oswego and a mom of two. Her daughter plays competitive fastpitch, which has reignited Paige’s passion for the game and inspired her to step into coaching. As a first-year coach with Blast, she is passionate about teaching strong fundamentals, building confidence, and creating a positive team culture where athletes feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn. Paige is committed to helping players grow both on and off the field while developing a lifelong love for the game.

10u Lissman

Mike Lissman, Head Coach

Coach Mike Lissman was a former player at Oregon State University and was a key part of the Beavers’ back-to-back National Championship teams in 2006 and 2007. Over the past three years, he has coached both of his daughters—ages 9 and 7. Mike’s coaching philosophy focuses on building strong fundamentals, competing with effort and enthusiasm, and being great teammates both on and off the field. He is excited to bring his knowledge and love of the game to Blast Fastpitch!

Jessica Lissman, Assistant Coach

Jessica is excited to bring her love for softball and coaching to the Blast organization. With the past three years spent coaching youth softball, she combines hands-on experience with a lifelong passion for the game. Jessica grew up playing competitive ASA softball and continued her career at the collegiate level at Linfield University. Outside of softball, she is a proud mother of two daughters and works in the field of Special Education.

Kyle Baisch, Assistant Coach

Kyle has coached youth sports in Tigard and Tualatin for the past five years, focusing on softball. A Seattle-area native, he grew up playing baseball, soccer, basketball, and football, and went on to earn a Sports Business degree from the University of Oregon. Kyle serves on the board of Sport Oregon and champions the She Flies initiative, promoting girls’ and women’s participation in sports across the state. He’s excited to bring his passion and energy to the 10U Blast!

Bill Galaway, Assistant Coach

Bill has multiple years of coaching experience at all ages 8U - 18U.  He helped start the Silver Bullets ASA Softball Program and spent many years developing young athletes into great softball players with a strong emphasis on teamwork, fundamentals and high softball IQ.  He is the father of assistant coach Jessica Lissman.

10u Johnson

Tina Johnson, Head Coach

Blast Fastpitch is excited to welcome Coach Tina Johnson as one of our 10U team’s Head Coach! Tina brings a deep love for softball, years of coaching experience, and a strong commitment to developing young athletes in the Tigard/Tualatin community.

Tina played at Tualatin High School before continuing her softball career at Western Oregon University, where she excelled as a pitcher and discovered her passion for coaching. She has coached athletes from T‑ball through high school and is currently a teacher in TTSD, bringing a “coach like a teacher” approach that helps young players learn, grow, and follow their dreams.

Brock Argyrooulos, Assistant Coach

Brock has been coaching youth sports and softball for 5 years. He loves the game of softball, basketball, and golf. He is passionate about coaching and helping our girls build confidence and to learn life skills through sports. Brock believes that having fun is so important for kids to learn in youth sports.

Noah Bartelamia, Assistant Coach

Noah has been coaching youth baseball, football, and softball for the past five years and loves helping young athletes build confidence by stepping outside their comfort zones. His goal is to create a positive environment where players can have fun, compete, learn the game, and grow both on and off the field.

Todd Hobson, Assistant Coach

Todd has been coaching youth sports and baseball for 8 years. He loves the game of softball and baseball. Todd has a real passion for helping our girls build confidence and skills that will carry them beyond the game. 

8u Lissman

Mike Lissman, Head Coach
